
I am currently developing a Teacher Induction Program for a secondary school in southeast Tennessee. Because of the nature of developing an artifact for use, I am using Educational Design Research methods to develop this program. Due to the unique factors of each school, this program will be designed to meet the needs of new teachers in this specific context.
I hope to contribute to the minimal literature in the area of Educational Research Design methods and to make some generalizations that will aid in the development of other programs seeking to develop similar programs in their unique context.
Below, you will find several presentations I have presented during my doctoral coursework. It is easy to see how my topic and planned research methods have evolved during the last two years. I anticipate further refinement in the coming months.

As schools, our primary focus is to educate our students. Plain and simple. Yes, feeding students, relationship building, leadership training, STEAM classes and projects, sports, choir, band, National Honors Society, International Club, JROTC, CTE classes, EPSOs (early post-secondary opportunities), and all the other things we do in schools that are imperative for the development of our students and addressing their needs and interests.
